Gunnedah Early Childhood Intervention

Help our little stars shine brighter!

Gunnedah Early Childhood Intervention is a community based, non-government organisation providing services to improve educational outcomes for children by enhancing their participation and achievement. The organisation was established in 1981 and was situated in Marquis Street. Later on, Gunnedah Early Childhood Intervention was rehoused in the hospital grounds and was known as “Little House on the Prairie “. In 1985 the Service was again relocated to the TAFE grounds and became part of Gunnedah Family and Children Services Inc. Gunnedah Early Childhood Intervention.

Gunnedah Early Childhood Intervention is committed to developing positive relationships with families and their children to allow each individual child to “reach for the stars”.

Our team includes University and TAFE trained teachers who are Marte Meo Practitioners.

A Child is like a butterfly in the wind
Some can fly higher than others.
But each one flies the best it can.
Why compare one against the other?
Each one is different.
Each one is special.
Each one is beautiful.
