About Connections 4 Kids

Connections 4 Kids (Gunnedah Early Childhood Intervention) is a service that provides education and therapy sessions for children (0-8 years) with families that are concerned that their child may not be meeting developmental milestones.

Some Reasons why you may access Connections 4 Kids:
•You have concerns about your child’s development;
•Autism;
•Cerebral Palsy;
•Chronic Illness;
•Hearing loss and deafness;
•Intellectual disability;
•Learning Disability;
•Mental illness;
•Physical disability;
•Speech and language disorder;
•Behavioural and social concerns;
•If you have any concerns about your child’s development, we can always be contacted and are more than happy to support any individual needs.

There are a number of ways families can access our service these include:

•Self Referral – Families can self refer to the service by telephoning the office for assistance or by simply filling in the attached referral form and our staff will make contact as soon as possible.

•Educational Service – Preschools, Child Care Providers and Schools can all assist with referrals by completed the attached referral form in consultation with the family.

•Medical Professionals – Medical practitioners (such as, paediatricians, doctors, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, etc), in consultation with the family, can also refer their clients to Connections 4 Kids.
