GFCS Management Comittee

GFCS Management Comittee

Over the past several years the Management Committee has concentrated on establishing Sugar Gums Centre, upgrading and streamlining management practices, adapting to changing requirements of Government funding bodies for Licensing, Quality Assurance, Children’s Services Regulations, and WHS.

We now wish to resume a broader role in the community to enable our organisation to be more pro-active in community development and further develop the potential of Sugar Gums Centre.
We are seeking community-minded people to broaden the scope of our voluntary management committee and ask that you consider joining our team.

The main requirement is approximately 2 hours each month to regularly attend evening management committee meetings, plus an hour or so to read business papers in the week preceding the meeting, plus occasional training sessions.
The committee currently consists of members with in-depth knowledge and experience in children’s services.

New members are needed with either a broad understanding of issues relating to families and children, accountancy/management skills, an interest in specific community needs/services or a desire to build stronger community networks.

If you are interested in becoming a member of this valuable community commmittee, please don’t hesitate to contact our Executive Officer via email or Phone: 02 6740 2280,
